Tipsy Painting​

With an emphasis on creativity and having fun, my Tipsy painting classes are suitable for all painting levels! Classes are about two hours long and include all supplies and detailed step-by-step instruction. Students learn basic painting techniques and leave with a 16x20 inch painting that is completely unique.. and they are often surprised by how well they do!

 

More complex designs are pre-sketched or include a stencil to ease the painting process. 

 

I currently teach monthly Tipsy Painting Classes at Hoppies Landing which is located inside the Pellston Regional Airport, with more locations to come.

A Message From the Artist

I love spreading my love of art through teaching classes and workshops. I really enjoy giving people an opportunity to be creative in a no pressure atmosphere.. 

because EVERYONE needs some sort of creative outlet.

EVERYONE needs a creative haven.

 

Though I myself have always had a natural talent, I have always been a believer that you don't need to be "good" to make art.. even "bad" art is worth making, because, It's only through practice that we improve!

 

Creating art can be a getaway from everyday life.. a stress reliever.. a way to release pent up emotion.. or, it can just be a way to create something unique and pretty to look at. Regardless of your reason for creating, let's just make the world a more beautiful place!

  • A password protected event that you can easily share with your guests.

  • All painting class materials.

  • Event set up and clean up.

What you provide

  • Tables and chairs for your guests.

  • If your event is at a private residence/space, you are responsible for providing any food or drinks. 

  • It is your responsibility to contact and book a third party venue if necessary. Any of my host venues would love to accommodate you!

I am always looking for new restaurants, bars, and other event spaces to work with.

let's make your location a CREATIVE HAVEN! 

Becoming a Tipsy Painting host venue is a mutually beneficial partnership.. you provide the space, and I bring you paying customers! This makes Tipsy Painting a great way to attract new, regular customers to your business.

The best part? I don't charge YOU, the host venue, ANYTHING!

Please note that I DO NOT pay venue fees.

What I provide

  • Promotion of your business on my website and social channels.

  • All painting class materials.

  • Detailed step-by-step instruction by me, Casey L Carter! Learn more about me here

  • All aspects of event managment.. i.e.. class payment processing, guest reservations, promotion, etc.

  • A fun night out for your clientele that will keep them coming back month after month!

What you provide

  • Space for up to 20 people

  • Tables and chairs

  • Adequate lighting.. we want to see what we are painting!

  • A climate controlled area where the class will be held.

  • Access to parking for class-goers.

  • Ability to post promotional materials at your location.. like posters, flyers, and possibly an example of the upcoming painting.

Tipsy Painting Event Policies

 

Public Events

  • PRE-REGISTRATION - It is STRONGLY recommended, and in your best interest to purchase your ticket online ahead of time as there are limited spaces available. If for some reason you are unable to pay online, please contact me .

  • ARRIVAL - Arrive 15-20 minutes early to get settled in and WINEdown.. This is your time to relax!

 

  • WALK-INS - If you really want to take your chances by not pre-registering for class and would like to “walk-in”, please arrive at least 15 minutes early. Walk-ins are accepted based on available supplies. I can not guarantee your space without payment.

 

  • LATE ARRIVALS - If you pre-register for class and arrive late, you are more than welcome to catch up with the rest of the class on your own. I will do my best to direct any latecomers as best as I can. However, it is unfair to stop the whole class to assist those who do not arrive on time.

 

  • PUBLIC EVENTS AT VENUES ARE NOT BYOB - you may purchase your food and drinks from the venue!

 

  • THIS IS AN ADULT ORIENTED EVENT - Those under 18 are welcome, with parents/guardians understanding that there will be drinking and adult humor. There is also a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for underage drinking. Anyone caught doing so will be asked to leave.

 

  • REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY - Contact Casey 48 hours prior to class for a full refund. Those who cancel 2 - 48 hours prior to the event will receive credit towards a future class. 2 hours or less notice will receive no refund. No shows forfeit reservation fee.

Private Parties

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: You may reschedule your Private Tipsy Painting Party with 7+ days advance notice at no charge. Should you wish to cancel your event with 48 hours - 6 days of notice, only the first two tickets and custom art fee will be forfeit. For requests with less than 48 hours, no refunds or reschedules will be permitted.

Damages: The PATRON assumes full responsibility for any damages to the location, equipment, other patrons, or Creative Haven Arts personnel due to negligence, including such caused by any vendor contracted by the PATRON to be on the premises (caterer, DJ, etc.).

Alcohol & Food: Alcohol and Food are permitted in accordance with Michigan State Liquor Law and the Liquor Control Board, with the following stipulations: 1. For events hosted at off-site locations contracted by the Event Organizer, the Event Organizer is responsible for obtaining service from the location. 2. For events at bars and restaurants, all alcohol and food MUST be purchased from the venue. NO BYOB. You may check with your venue if they make any exceptions. 3. The Event Organizer assumes all liability for the consumption of alcohol, and no open containers will leave the premises. 4. No underage drinking is allowed. Underage drinking is grounds for immediate cancellation of the event, with no refunds. 5. Finger food type snacks and appetizers are welcome during the event.. However, full meals should be had either before or after the event.

Keep in mind:

  • Tipsy Painting parties are adult-oriented events.. Those under 18 are welcome, with parents/guardians understanding that there will be drinking and adult humor.

  • Private party events are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. Your first requested dates may not be available. This is why I ask for three possible party dates/times.

  • Once your form is submited, you will recieve an invoice for your event set up fees. These fees include the purchase of two (2) non-refundable event tickets, As well as custom art and travel fees if applicable.
    You do have the option to purchase all of your event tickets at one time, once your event is active.
